With over a third of the Top 100 dominated by 'greatest hits' compilations, isn't it time those albums had their own chart? Taking those albums out would shine a light on new albums which are currently being held outside the Top 100.

Yeah but I like greatest its n if there sellin then thass where they should be in the main chart. If new albums sold more then theirn would be in the top 100 but there aint nothin wrong with greatest its n I keep on buyin them on ere.

Good to see Arlo Parks at No 9 , she now deserves a hit single.

Considering the amount of rock bands who drop out after the first week. Seeing Sleep Token maintain a place in the Top 100 is very surprising, but a very welcome surprise. Looks like we have the next huge rock band in the UK on the horizon.. Sleep Token!

Simply Red were amazing - Highly Recommend all of their albums - all well worth having - Very Surprising to see Sparks again in there - the Mael brothers are always welcome - I think I might still have almost all their 45s and say about 4 of their 1970s albums - and finally Tubular Bells at 50 makes it in at 18 - apparantly Mike Oldfield has now retired - didn't know that ...

If it weren't for streaming and download sales, this could've been a very enticing 4 way album battle, with Sparks coming out on top alongside Simply Red and Arlo Parks.
Oh well, bring on Foo Fighters next week's charts! Let's get their album to the top for Taylor Hawkins!
