Metallica's new album has almost fallen down the charts in just 5 brief weeks. No one is buying their new album. Pretty sad times we are living in these days. Heavy metal and rock are finished and is definitely not coming back any time soon.

Not including streaming numbers, 72 Seasons is still in the Top 20 best selling albums of the week on the UK Album Sales Chart. In terms of streaming, rock music suffers a lot which is a shame unless your name is Bring Me The Horizon.

Apologies for the earlier glitch on this chart page, the issue is now fixed. No need to go to Specsavers. HQ

Umm, why am i seeing each album twice??
Anyway, glad Ed is still at the top, next week might be a toughie though, what with the fantastic Lewis Capaldi's album out.

Exaggerating again! They’re not ALL appearing twice, only the ones that were left for Gladys to put in order.

All but the top 3 are duplicated. That's a LOT, even if not literally ALL. Next week is the start of a real battle for the rest of the year: Ed v Lewis. Both with huge old albums still doing well.
