FOREIGNER

Foreigner is a British–American rock band, originally formed in New York City and London in 1976 by veteran English musician and ex–Spooky Tooth member Mick Jones (born December 27, 1944 in Portsmouth, Hampshire), Dennis Elliot (born August 18, 1950, in Peckham, London), ex–King Crimson member Ian McDonald (born June 25, 1946 from Osterley, Middlesex) along with American vocalist Lou Gramm (born May 2, 1950 in Rochester, New York). Foreigner scored a string of hit songs throughout the 1970s and 1980s including the 1985 UK Official Singles Chart Number 1 in 1985 with I Want To Know What Love Is, and have sold over 80 million records worldwide.
