3 of this week's new entries are from Irish acts, as far as I can tell (Aimee Carty, Jazzy, NewEra)

Taylor Swift announced a new album. Here's what else is happening this week.

  • Is Noah Kahan top again? I've got amnesia, I can't remember.
  • If it weren't for Benson Boone limping predictably up to 8, this week would be SO dead.
  • Reggae is still relevant. Just ask YG Marley.
  • Can I hibernate from the Ella Henderson tune yet?
  • It's looking like a great week for LDP fans everywhere. The album's set for the top spot, and the single duly climbs.
  • Nevermind. Justim Timberlake isn't THAT much of a flop. He just saw how Say Something started slow and then went from there.
  • There's actually no new entries. I wanna die.
  • Unless of course, we end up with the insufferable Nathan Evans in the 40.
  • Or Home by Good Neighbours. Which I still know NOTHING ABOUT.
  • Don Toliver is the best new hit of the week, and that's saying a LOT about how static the chart is.
  • Nathan Dawe should've retired from dance by now.
  • The Hazbin Hotel tunes ain't going away in a hurry.
  • If I say anything about No.74 I'll end up being crucified for my crimes against humanity, so... Good for Cat Janice. Something something cancer's lame. Tune's a little generic and bland for 2024 standards. This is all iTunes' fault. (Never mind. I'll be off to buy a crucifix.)
  • Aimee Carty. AKA YET ANOTHER BALLAD-HEAVY MANHATER FROM THIS DECADE. Olivia Rodrigo has a lot to answer for, clearly.
  • Jazzy's still a 1-hit wonder.
  • NewEra's first appearance is as boring as all the other dance tracks at present.
  • Ah yes, TWICE. K-Pop's forgotten peasants. Still not getting any hits it seems.
  • I could've sworn the LDP album tracks had done better than the 90s.

And y'know, that's that. Get ready for April 19th, because I'm not. Maybe then there'll be a new No.1. 🫤
