Shaboozey, real name Collins Obinna Chibueze, is a singer-songwriter born in Woodbridge, Virginia, United States on May 9 1995.
Shaboozey released his debut single, Jeff Gordon, in 2014, before signing to Republic Records in 2017, having caught the label's attention with his tracks Starfoxx and Robert Plant.
His debut LP, Lady Wrangler, followed in 2018; showcasing Shaboozey's unique brand of country music; taking inspiration from hip-hop, rock and Americana. Second album Cowboys Live Forever, Outlaws Never Die was released in 2022; though it wasn't until April 2024 that Shaboozey earned his first UK Official Chart appearance.
A Bar Song (Tipsy), which interpolates J-Kwon's 2004 hit Tipsy, debuted at Number 41 on the Official Singles Chart, before climbing to Number 16 the following week.
