Kylie's 16th studio album Tension (released 22 September 2023) is a critically-acclaimed electro-pop confection, headed up by two of her most successful singles in more than a decade; the Top 10 smash Padam Padam, which in June 2023 became Kylie's highest-charting UK hit since Into The Blue 12 years earlier, and the Girls Aloud-esque title track Tension. 

Tension marks the follow-up to DISCO which landed at Number 1 in November 2020 and helped Kylie set a new Official Chart record as she became the first ever female artist to secure a Number 1 on the UK's Official Albums Chart in five consecutive decades.
